Comedian on Friday, March 27th

Hey all!

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond AMP's control, the Lodge 1 show scheduled for this Friday has been cancelled. Comedian Kumail Nanjiani is no longer available to come and perform. We apologize to any students who had plans to attend the show and were looking forward to a night of great comedy.

The AMP Comedy Committee would also like to remind everyone that at this point in the year we are actively looking for new comedians to bring next fall. If you are a comedy buff, or just happened to catch a really funny comedian recently, please feel free to send us any recommendations, or names of comedians you would like to see come to campus! We are here to bring the acts that interest you, so feel free to send us the names of anyone you would like to see.

TribeVision Update

Hey Tribe!

I hope everyone enjoyed the much needed/deserved snow day! I know there is nothing better than watching a good movie with hot cocoa while it snows outside, but unfortunately due to the power-outage the system that allows us to show movies through Tribevision (Channel 52) has to be rebooted. Because of all the closings on campus there was no way for us to gain access and get Tribevision running again. But no worries, it will be up and running Wednesday with our great March selection. Thanks for watching Tribevision and giving us your input.

AMP 2009-2010

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 AMP General Board. After reading applications and conducting interviews this past weekend, the 2009-2010 Executive Board (see full list below) selected the AMP General Board for the upcoming year. AMP had many great, competitive candidates and is excited to welcome its incoming general board members. Under this impressive team, AMP is sure to continue its tradition of diverse, high-quality entertainment. The committees will begin to brainstorm events for Fall '09 in the coming weeks so make sure to suggest your ideas to them!
