Bill Lawrence Filmmaking Competition Update

The judges' panel for the Bill Lawrence Filmmaking Competition met this evening to pick the top 5 films (out of 20+ final submissions!). Without further ado, the top five production teams and films are (in alphabetical order):

  • Just Blueberries and Chad: Short Straw (or Little H)
  • One Way Productions: Sunny Side Up
  • Part-Time Productions: Sean Hits His Stride
  • Team 1693: Magic Dream House
  • Vagabond Anarchists: Hark Upon a Tale
And honorable mentions include:
  • 7th Grade Sketch Comedy: Five Dollars
  • Ellipsis: Love Me...Please
  • Team Mermidon: The Red Pill
AMP will screen the winning film (as chosen by Bill Lawrence) at the public lecture on Thursday, January 29th. Check out the student films on TribeVision (Channel 52).

AMP wants to thank the student filmmakers for their submissions. We were truly impressed. Congratulations to the production teams of the top 5 films!

This is very exciting!

I wonder who the winning filmmaker will be? I'm sure all the filmmakers did an excellent job. Is there a place like YouTube where these videos can be watched? It would be cool to see.
